The standard ASUS P8P67 series drivers will not work, however the driver from the ASUS P9X79 series does!
For it to work on Windows 8.1 however, you are required to run it in "Windows 8" compatibility mode.
So without all the bullshit heres the driver link and brief instructions for those who need them:

Here's how to get it working, follow these steps:
1. Extract the Zip file.
2. In the extracted folders locate "AsusSetup.exe"
3. Right click and select Properties
4. Under "Compatibility" Tab check the box marked:
"Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
5. Select "Windows 8" from the dropdown menu.
6. Click "Apply" then "OK"
7. Now Double click "AsusSetup.exe" and follow instructions...
All done.
